SSR has had an experience on Second Life since June 2007 and currently owns over 150 streams

SSR has set the most performing stream hiring scripts with their update & the addition of options.
We currently offer :
- Professionnal quality streams on servers located in France which enable you to play up to 196kbps, 44,1Khz in stereo and to have an audience of up to 150 people (so you can broadcast on several sims)
- Classic and fully automated renting, the servers being located in France, time is GMT+1 (French time)
- Lenghtening of time by repaying your stream
- Possibility of changing your stream password at any time (requires restarting your stream so about 1 min unavailability)
- Possibility to kick the person who is streaming if he/she for instance forgets to disconnect.
- Notification 48h before expiry of your rental.
- Information point that communicates your stream number in case you forget it.
How to rent
IMPORTANT : you must have the right to change the media on the land where you want to broadcast

Then you go to the bays where the streams are (one server per stream) see picture :
Choose a “green” server and pay for the required period :
- 1 day : 79L$
- 1 week : 479L$
- 1 month : 1679L$
The server will communicate you the required information through the chat (CTRL+H), that is : IP, Port, Pass and URL for the land
IMPORTANT : between the moment you pay and the moment when the shoutcast starts : there can be a delay of about one minute
You can of course lenghthen your stream. If you need it for two days, pay a second time for it and it’ll be active for two days.

Some technique
We have at your disposal Bi Pro servers under Centos hard disks in RAID and 100Mbits network
The servers are hosted in a high security datacenter which are monitored 24/7 with SMS notification in cas of trouble
Access is controlled via two banklocks with metal detection. Access to datacentre is protected by a biometric system. Only authorized staff can access site.
Air conditioning is made up of 51 blocks of 96KW
